The practice was formed in Chorley in 1983 providing Accounts and Tax advice to local businesses. Karen Richardson Managing Director of McGinty Demack set up her first practice in her hometown Chorley in Queens Road. From there she provided the full range of accountancy services. Helping local Chorley businesses and ones located in northwest cities such as Liverpool Manchester Bolton Blackburn and Preston.

Since then the Accountancy practice has been based in Wigan before relocating to its current base in Standish. From this centrally based north-west Accountancy office we provide Accounts, Tax, Payroll and auto-enrolment, VAT, Management Accounts, Management consultancy, Training and support on the latest changes to business practice like Making tax Digital.

Although it’s based in Standish it still retains a significant client base from the Bolton area. The peaceful setting of the office suite in Vermont House Business Centre in its rural setting makes it an ideal location to have the meetings to discuss annual accounts and taxation as well as appointments to discuss that new venture.
